Who we are

Two guys named Judah, one pool business

J&J is Judah Wise and Judah Benedah, yes, both named Judah. It's the whole reason for the name.

We already had the equipment and knew our way around a pool, so we figured we might as well put that to use and build something real instead of letting it sit around. That's the honest version: no big origin story, just two people who know what they're doing and wanted to start something of their own.

We're both from the area and spend a lot of time in the water ourselves. Swimming's been a big part of our lives, so we take it personally when a pool isn't taken care of properly. That's the standard we're holding ourselves to with every pool we service.

We're a new business. We don't have a long client list yet, but that means every single customer gets our full attention, not a rotating crew, not a call center. When you call, you're talking to one of us.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a contract?

No. Everything is month-to-month. If you want to cancel, just give us 30 days notice.

Are chemicals included in the price?

Yes. The monthly price covers standard chemicals. You won't get a separate chemical bill.

What if it rains on our scheduled day?

We'll reschedule to the next available day that week. If your pool doesn't need it that week, we'll let you know instead of showing up just to check a box.

Do you work on saltwater pools?

Yes. Salt cell inspection, cleaning, and salt level adjustment are all part of our regular service for saltwater pools.

My pool is green / hasn't been serviced in a while. Can you fix it?

Yes. It usually takes a heavier first treatment and sometimes a follow-up visit or two, but we can get it back to normal. We'll walk you through what that looks like before we start.

How do I pay?

Card on file, billed monthly. No need to remember to pay us, it's automatic.

Are you insured?

Yes, we carry general liability insurance.

What's the first visit like?

Your first cleaning is free. We'll come out, assess the pool, do a full service, and get you set up on whichever plan makes sense.

Do you do repairs, or just cleaning?

We handle both, from filters and pumps to leak checks. Repairs are quoted separately once we've seen the issue.
